Regular meetings
PYPA conducts regular meeting to encourage and utilize the
God given talents of PYPA members. Various programs like Action
song, Song solo, Group song, Family song, Instrument Music,
Essay Reading, Short story, Speech, Memory verses, Bible reference,
Bible quiz gospel News etc.,
are conducted and thorough these programs the talents God
entrusted to various members were sharpened.
Seminar and Debates
Every year we conduct special seminars and debates on various
topics. Last year the seminar was on "Victorious Christian
Living" conducted on 13th May at the Hi Dine auditorium.
Pastor Collin D' Cruz, a dynamic young speaker, Minister of
the APOSTOLIC FELLOWSHIP TABERNACLE Vellore, Tamil Nadu was
invited as the main speaker for the seminar. Pastor Collin
very powerfully shared from the word. The event was also blessed
by the response speeches delivered by Bros MG Mathew, MM Mathew
and Sister Nisha Abraham. Pastor KP Mathew concluded the seminar.
Picnics
PYPA organizes picnics during the year for increasing fellowship
among beleivers. It is a real blessing for the church as a
whole to involve in various activities at the beach as a large
family. Various games and other programs are conducted.
Talent Competition
Talent Unmatched! The excellence of our youth is tested in
Song solo, group Song, Instrument Music, Essay writing, Story
telling, memory verses, Speech, Bible quiz and Group Bible
quiz. The contestants were divided into four levels.
Financial Assistance for Building
Home
Financial assistances are given to the poor and needy in various
parts of Kerala. This year God has given us the opportunity
to construct house
for Brother MP Vinod Kumar and family a Hindu convert in Alapuzha
district, a believer of Cheppad IPC Church. A financial aid
of Rs 50,000/- was disbursed. A record collection in a single
meeting of KD 490 .000 was collected for this noble cause.
Financial Aid for Marriage
This year PYPA was able to provide an aid of RS 25,000/- for
the marriage of Sister Binukutty daughter of Late pastor PS
Chacko. The marriage was solemnized on 18th December,2004
at Kottayam.
Tsunami Relief Work
Responding to the Tsunami Disaster in Dec 2004 this year our
PYPA provided Rs 52035/- as aid to the affected victims of
Tsunami at Kerala. Food and clothes were provided to the needy.
The efforts of Bro Jacob Thomas were commendable and appreciable
in the planning, execution and distribution of aid to the
right people at the right Time.
Educational Aid
PYPA provides educational aid to students at various levels
so that they can achieve their dreams and ambitions. This
year our PYPA provided an educational aid of Rs 1500/- to
13 applicants's as financial aid for the purchase of books
and school uniform, this aid was sent just before the start
of the new school session.
Clothes Distribution
250 KG of used clothes were collected from the house of our
members and distributed to the FIRE victims of the KGL staff
whose clothes were completely burnt. The service of Bro Santhosh
Mathew was commendable in coordinating the activity of collecting
used clothes.
Bible Quiz
Written Bible Quiz was conducted from the book of Acts of
Apostles. Many of our youths participated regularly in the
quiz.
365 Days Chain Fasting
In accordance with our vision to root our activities on prayer,
a year long chain fasting was initiated and successfully maintained
so far to encourage our youth to set apart a day for the Lord
in fast and prayer. Many youth participated in the chain fasting
and its results were evident
from the great move of God in all our meetings. Prayer request
list was distributed every week. The services of Bro George
K Varghese were commendable in coordinating this activity
through out the year.
Library
Many new books and CD's were added to our library during the
last year. Our library is a blessing to many people who are
actively utilizing this facility. The service of our librarian
Bro KC Mohanan is appreciated.
Disaster Aid Box Collection
By the grace of God and with the cheerful giving of our members,
we collected an amount of KD 374.045 fills through 68 Boxes
during the current year. This amount will be spent in future
for the relief work undertaken by our PYPA during any natural
disaster.
